AMRU BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the exam, you must ensure that you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You must be an Indian citizen and a bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. Candidates who have completed 10+2 from the National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) are also eligible.
- You must be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2023 and not more than 35 years of age as on the date of the entrance test. Relaxation of five years in upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
- You must be medically fit and produce a certificate of medical fitness at the time of counselling.
- Married candidates are also eligible to apply, provided they are medically fit.
AMRU BSc Nursing Application Process
The application process for the Atal Medical and Research University Nerchowk BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023 is completely online and involves the following steps:
- Visit the official website of AMRU i.e. https://amruhp.ac.in/ and click on the link for BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023.
- Register yourself by providing your name, email id, mobile number and other details. You will receive a user id and password on your registered email id and mobile number.
- Login with your user id and password and fill up the online application form with your personal, academic and contact details. Upload your scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the prospectus.
- Pay the application fee through online mode using debit card/credit card/net banking. The application fee is Rs. 2200 for General/OBC and their sub-categories, Rs. 1200 for EWS/BPL/IRDP categories and Rs. 1200 for SC/ST and their sub-categories.

AMRU HP BSC Nursing Entrance Test Exam Pattern
The Atal Medical and Research University Nerchowk BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023 consists of one written paper with multiple choice questions covering four subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. The exam pattern is as follows:

The syllabus for the Atal Medical and Research University Nerchowk BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023 is based on the topics covered in the 10+2 level curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. Some of the important topics are:

Result
The result of the Atal Medical and Research University Nerchowk BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023 will be declared online on the official website of AMRU i.e. https://amruhp.ac.in/. The tentative date for result declaration is 05 July 2023. You can check your result by entering your roll number and date of birth. The result will display your marks obtained in the entrance test and your rank in the merit list.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test. In case of a tie in marks, the following criteria will be used to break the tie:
- Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be given preference.
- If the tie still persists,
candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will be given preference. - If the tie still persists,
candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given preference. - If the tie still persists,

Bsc Nursing Counselling
The counselling process for the Atal Medical and Research University Nerchowk BSc Nursing Entrance Test 2023 will be conducted online by AMRU. The qualified candidates will have to register for the counselling session online no counselling fee.
The counselling process will involve verification of documents, choice filling and seat allotment. The candidates will have to report to the allotted institution with the original documents and admission fee within the stipulated time. The documents required for verification are:
