Recent notifications have been issued for multiple divisions in Himachal Pradesh:
- Division Pooh (Kinnaur): 20 posts (9 Para Cook, 11 Para Helper). Apply by February 7, 2026.
- Division Nagrota Bagwan: 3 posts (Para Cook & Para Helper). Apply between January 24 and February 2, 2026.
- Division Jhandutta: 3 posts. Application deadline is January 28, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions in 2026, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Para Helper: Must have passed 10th Class (Matric) from a recognized board.
- Para Cook: Requires a Diploma or Degree in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 45 years of age.
- Residency: Applicants must be Bonafide Himachali residents.
Salary (Honorarium)
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly honorarium:
- Para Cook: ₹9,000 per month.
- Para Helper: ₹5,500 per month.
Selection Process
The selection is primarily merit-based, followed by a skill test or interview:
- Academic Merit: 5 marks are awarded based on the percentage in Matric.
- BPL Status: 1 mark for candidates from BPL families with the prescribed income.
- Experience: Up to 2 marks for relevant experience (0.5 marks for every 6 months).
- Skill Test/Interview: Final evaluation through a trade/skill test and document verification.
